Privacy at a Glance
BetterStickies is built with privacy as a core principle. The desktop application works offline, apart from one contact with betterstickies.com when you activate Premium on a computer, and stores all your notes locally on your device. We never have access to your sticky notes content, images, reminders, or any data stored in the app. This privacy policy applies to both the desktop application and the betterstickies.com website.
Your sticky notes never leave your device. The desktop app works offline and needs no account. It contacts betterstickies.com only once, when you activate Premium on a computer: it sends a one-way hash of the computer's ID, the computer name you chose, the app version and the install source, and your name and a masked email are written into the activation file on that computer.
This privacy policy is effective as of the date listed above and applies to all users of the BetterStickies desktop application and website. By using our services, you agree to this privacy policy.
